Fast Serv Adds Hurricane Electric to Provide IPv6

Fast Serv Networks, LLC has signed an agreement with Hurricane Electric for additional transit capacity and the addition of IPv6 capability to its Ashburn, VA BGP network. Fast Serv currently has network connectivity through Level3, Global Crossing, Telia, Comcast, and Cogentco, with Hurricane being the latest addition.
“We are excited to be able to extend IPv6 enabled services to our customers, in addition to the extensive peering and network capacity of the Hurricane Electric global network.” says Randy McAnally, CTO of Fast Serv Networks, LLC. “Hurricane Electric will be a valuable addition to our existing, highly diverse BGP mix.”
On June 1st, 2010, IPv6 routes from Hurricane Electric will start being rolled out on Fast Serv’s IPv6 capable BGP network.
